Our YEA Erasmus+ project´s topic is financial literacy so we decided to take our pupils to the most important Czech bank. Each ear two classes went to Prague to see the bank and learn something new and interesting about our currency and bank systém. The Czech National Bank is the central bank and financial market supervisor in the Czech Republic and it is a member of the European System of Central Banks. Its seat, the bank palace was constructed between 1935 and 1942 in the functionalism style according to the design of František Roith. The bank offer a very interesting exhibition People & Money that illustrates the history of money evolution from flint to digital money and chips and provides a comprehensive picture of both monetary and financial development in our country. We could see 65 show-cases displaying unique exhibits and payment instruments, represented in various shapes, forgeries and examples of money protection techniques.
